Before you read any further. This machine is not a toy. It is a serious setup.
I do not offer test flights. There is a zero percent chance of you flying this machine without buying it first. I would accommodate a demonstration flight, however, only for people that are serious. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required if you want to see this machine demonstrated. If you buy this system, the $50 shall be deducted from the final sale price. You can view the aircraft and equipment on the ground, for free.
I will include a two-hour private flight and safety session. I usually charge for such sessions.
This sale is for a complete aerial photography/video multirotor drone system. Everything you need is included in this system: assembled aircraft, programmed remote, FPV system, and battery charging system. This is a custom build and not available anywhere else. This system features only the best components available for the budget. I do not install just or sub-par components. I’ve saved the original boxes for all major components whenever possible. All components and systems have been already tuned and are 100% operational. What’s not included in this system??? A memory card for the camera 🙂 That’s all you’d need to buy elsewhere.
This aircraft is one of a kind. It’s customized to withstand quite windy environments much better than other machine. It features a six-motor, coaxial propulsion design. Y6 configurations also have better chance of surviving a motor failure because the machine has six motors. I have conducted tests with a complete motor failure, mid-flight and a machine stayed in the air.
This machine has been thoroughly tested has a 100% successful track record.
This aircraft is sheer pleasure to fly.
This drone is much more powerful than others of it’s size. You can easily reach speeds close to 100kph in a matter of seconds. (I don’t recommend this for filming though). This machine runs circles around the DJI Phantom 2. It also to give the DJI Inspire a run for its money because a Y6 is much more stable in high winds.
This machine can lift more than the GoPro gimbal installation, albeit it will less flight time.
The frame is based upon a DJI F550. However, the aircraft has been significantly modified and upgraded to be stronger and safer. The boom arms and motor mounts are manufactured by Aerial Mob in California. It uses carbon fiber components and glass-filled Delrin plastics. It is extremely strong. Plus, the install is very clean and streamlined.
This aircraft also has been pre-fitted with a one-of-a-kind custom LED navigation strobe. High power 1W LEDs are directly integrated into the motor mounts. It is extremely clean looking. The LED system offer 360-degree visibility for safety. The LED controller is NOT included in this package. LED controllers are available online. My controllers are custom made and programmed.
This machine features a DJI Naza v2 with GPS. If you are familiar with DJI products or even the DJI Phantom, then this controller will be the a piece of cake. It’s a very good controller for the price. Also installed is a bluetooth receiver so you can connect to the Flight Controller directly from your iPhone etc.
This system includes a geniune Futaba radio control set. The radio system has been custom configured to support every feature of the DJI Naza and Basecam Gimbal controller. Futuba is one of the best manufacturers of equipment. Professionals use them. This system includes a Futaba 8FG Super with matching 14channel receiver.
The propulsion system is made by KDE Direct, Washington, USA. KDE makes the best motors commercially available. KDE motors feature triple bearings, oversided for extreme smoothness. The features of these motors is amazing. The ESCs barely get warm thanks to a real heat sink and good electronics. The ESCs are installed using a one-of-a-kind mounting system which hides all six ESCs inside the body of the aircraft.
KDE makes the best products. Not cheap though. I have all the original boxes and accessories for your convenience.
This aircraft comes with both Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass composite prop sets. In all there are:
T-motor CF 12×4 version 2 props (total of 4 sets, custom balanced)
Graupner Fiberglass 12×6 props (total of 5 sets, 3 sets custom balanced by myself, currently installed)
Each of these high performance props have their slight advantages over the other. I prefer Graupners because they are less noise, but offer slightly less performance. BOTH types of props are included and easily changed.
CAMERA + GIMBAL system
This aircraft features a Basecam 32-bit controlling a full 3-axis gimbal. The Basecam 32-bit is the “pro” controller with full customization of the gimbal performance. This gimbal system has more features than any DJI Zenmuse system. Furthermore, this gimbal system is independent of the Flight Controller and can be installed on hand-held units. This aircraft is set up for single operator for flight and camera. You have direct operation of the gimbal, PAN, TILT, gimbal PROFILES and more remotely. This machine is set up with a popular profiles including. FOLLOW and LOCKED view. The customization of this gimbal is endless compared to DJI gimbals. I am also providing a couple sets of ND and polarizing filters for the camera.
The gimbal itself is a DYS 3-axis Smart3. It is all metal CND’ed, no plastic. More importantly, I have engineered a unique vibration reduction and anti-torque mount which extends the gimbal stability on such an powerful aircraft. The gimbal YAW motor has been upgraded to a larger model to provide increased torque for this airframe. This gimbal isn’t has temperamental about camera weight and allows you to easily add a camera filter without rebalancing.
This system includes an new GoPro Hero 3+ BLACK.This camera has never been used as has been sitting here as an emergency backup camera. The Hero 3+ Black can shoot at 1080p at 60fps. It’s a year old, but brand new, unused. The camera comes with the original water proof case and all accessories including the WiFi Remote and mounts. I am also including an external battery charger with two extra batteries. There are a total of THREE batteries.
This system uses 5.8GHz video link telemetry. A DJI AVL58 transmitter and receiver is installed. The stock DJI antennae have been upgraded to VAS IBCRazy BlueBeam Ultra Airscrew and Mad Mushroom. You will be provided with the stock DJI antenna as well. The system also includes a DJI iOSD Mark II On-screen Display for broadcasting aircraft telemetry and statistics. This iOSD has built-in telemetry logging features, but I never bother.
Also included a customized Lilliput LCD video monitor. This monitor was ordered directly from the manufacturer in California. It is not available online. This unit allows you to use an external Video Radio Receiver of your choice instead of the sub standard usual internal receiver for analog video telemetry. This LCD monitor features:
• 1280×800 IPS (In-Plane Switching) LCD panel. Image quality doesn’t change depending on viewing angle. This is similiar to Apple Macintosh and iPhone display. This is a much higher quality LCD panel that other monitors using TFT panels.
• Unique video input which does not show “blue screen, Loss of Signal”. This allows your to see the video transmission even if the signal is degrades and shows some static. This is a good thing.
• Antiglare screen film installed. Removeable for more vivid image.
• Foldable, soft sun shade.
• Custom wiring for standard 3s LiPo hobby battery pack.
• Includes one GensAce 1400mAh 3s LiPo mini battery pack.
• Battery lasts 60 minutes per charge
I only use the best batteries on the market: Gens Ace: Tattu professional series. This machine is designed for peak performance on 4s batteries. This system comes with a total of six batteries. With a large battery installed, you can expect about 15mins of air time. I recommend 12 or 13min for safety margins.
All battery history has been logged.
The batteries are charged with a Revelectric PowerLab6 1000W. This charger is not cheap, but has the most robust and safest features yet. In this system, this means you can safely charge TWO 4s 10,000mAH batteries at the same time in less than one hour. The charge leads have tons of safety fuses in every wire possible. It’s the safest charge and the only charger I will ever use. I own a couple of them. Furthermore, this charger has excellent customer support. Something rare for a charger company.
